History:
This iconic Sportster model was only produced for two years. It was developed to meet Japanese competitors in the café racer segment. Unfortunately, sales were a flop and only about 3000 were produced, so production was discontinued after two years. It has a 1000 cc Iron Sportster engine of 61 HP. The color was black and with very little chrome. Small fairing, café racer tail, dual instruments and crossover exhaust system with dual mufflers.

Condition:
This bike was directly imported from the USA by the first owner in 1978, and was driven for the first few years in the Gothenburg area. In 2012, it underwent a renovation of the gearbox, etc.  by Sportster Specialisten Tassen. 2017 It was then sold to a private museum and has since then been used very sparingly. Receipts, Instruction manuals, Repair manuals, etc. are included, as well as various spare parts and a new battery.
