When Honda decided to return to road racing, they developed the MT 125 RCS, which was a racer produced to be affordable to buy and operate, and above all aimed at new riders. To make road racing affordable for many, the MT 125 RCS has used many parts from Honda's motocross CR Elsinore. The engine was air-cooled with 6 gears, it had larger carburetors and changed port times. There was a wide range of gears and equipment available, to facilitate racing. The model was only produced in 80 copies and only a handful were red like this machine. This particular machine was sold new in Sweden and competed for a few years until the development of water cooling and higher power made it outdated. The machine has previously been owned by racing legend Allan Johansson from Gunnarsbol.

Condition:
The machine starts and runs as it should, but the machine has been in a museum for a long time and needs a review before it is put into use. Nicely patinated racing condition. Matching numbers.
