History:

I purchased this motorcycle from a man named Roger in Virginia, who was about 50 years old at the time of the sale.

According to Roger, the motorcycle originally belonged to his father. Roger's father rode the bike during his high school years, likely in the mid-to-late 1950s. After using it for several years, he placed the motorcycle into storage, where it remained unused for an extended period.

In the mid-to-late 1980s, or possibly the early 1990s, Roger's father began disassembling the motorcycle with the intention of restoring it. Unfortunately, he passed away before substantial restoration work could be completed.

The motorcycle then passed to Roger, who retained ownership for approximately 15 years. During that time, the motorcycle remained stored in his garage, and no significant work was performed on it.

Roger eventually decided to sell the motorcycle along with several other Indian motorcycles that had belonged to his father. I purchased the entire collection from him.

My original intention was to restore the motorcycles with my father; however, due to his advancing age, those plans did not proceed as anticipated.

Based on the information provided to me by Roger, the motorcycle remained within the same family from at least the 1950s or early 1960s until I acquired it. To the best of my knowledge, this represents the complete known ownership history of the motorcycle.
