Van Veen was Kreidler's importer in Holland in the 70s. They had their own racing team with self-developed 50 cc racing machines based on Kreidler's engine. This machine was built for Jan de Vries, who he then took the world title in 50 cc racing in 1971.
In 1972, Jarno Saarinen borrowed the machine in the Spanish GP as a guest driver in the team, and it was also driven by Kent Andersson in the World Championship. After it later participated in the Swedish GP in Anderstorp in the autumn of 1972, it came to stay in Sweden and was bought by Bengt Lindqvist who then drove it very successfully here in Sweden, with among other things the Swedish Championship runner-up in 1973 as a merit.

Condition:
The vehicle has been standing on museum for a long time and needs a review before it is put into service. Engine goes around with compression. Patinated racing condition. The machine has 6V ignition and 12V fuel pump. A lot of documentation follows.
